Our Mission…
The mission of the Stone Ridge Volunteer Fire Company is to protect the lives and property of our community through response, training, public education, and fire prevention.
Responding to over 250 emergency calls per year, Stone Ridge Fire Company has five pieces of apparatus, an engine, two tankers, a rescue engine, and a light weight rescue, with over 40 active members. In addition to traditional firematic responses, the Stone Ridge Volunteer Fire Company responds to medical emergencies, operates a Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST) and Surface Ice Water Rescue Team.
Organized in 1939, the Stone Ridge Volunteer Fire Company serves the hamlets of Stone Ridge, Vly-Atwood, and Marbletown.
